We Go Together - A Free Go Bag Workshop For The Queer Community

Sat Apr 25, 2026 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Social Good Place, 97215

This free workshop is sponsored and co-hosted by the Portland Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence - Order of Benevolent BlissAll are welcome, though priority is given to members of the LGBTQIA2+ community.

The workshop will take place from 2-4pm. Between 4-5pm the Sisters will hold space to socialize and connect with community.

Preparedness supply door prizes and light refreshments will be provided!

Do you have a go bag ready in case you need to leave in a hurry? Go bags are easy-to-carry survival kits that contain everything you’ll need to get by for 1-3 days in the event of emergencies and evacuations.

Whether you’re brand new to the idea of go bags or have been putting off assembling one for months, this workshop will help you get prepared!

During our time together, you’ll learn strategies to effectively and sustainably approach the preparedness process, learn what kinds of events you might need a go bag for, and explore what supplies to include.

What's included with your ticket:

  • MakeWith's custom digital and printed checklists to help you complete the process of assembling your go bag after the workshop has ended
  • A complimentary mini go bag starter kit to get you started
  • Opportunities to win an emergency weather radio or power bank for your go bag
  • Light refreshments
